Christine and Kenny's Visit

Our friend, Christine and Kenny Bloome (PJ's sister and brother-in-law came to see us for a few days in late October. We had a great time together. Thank you Kenny for introducing us to those great cheeses.

Flagstone Terrace Resurrected

The large tree in the middle of the terrace was cut down leaving a massive trunk and roots which we took out with the help of a massive beast of a machine. So now we are putting the flagstone puzzle together.

Back to the Farm in early September

Came back to the farm for a few more weeks before flying back home to Vancouver.

Archie has grown a lot in those few weeks and is becoming quite the computer buff!

After a bit of a rocky start, Willy and Archie are now the best of buddies.

Never turn down free lumber! A friend of Nicole did some home renovations and we were the beneficiary of enough lumber to last Nicole a long time. New jumps here we come.

We pulled out a lot of nails and Stan built shelves and made it look like a regular lumber yard.

Return to the Cottage in August

Following Stan's return from his 3-week stay in Vancouver, when he attended a family reunion among other things, we drove back to the cottage in Lanoraie, QC from Uxbridge, ON and spent four great weeks there. Here are some photos depicting our time there.

"Thelma and Louise" Go to Wilmington, DE

While Stan took a mid-summer trip back to Vancouver, Nicole and I accompanied by Willy and Archie went on a road trip to Wilmington. We had a ball, eating, drinking and shopping!

Willy truly believes he is the driver!

And Archie has the utmost confidence in his abilities!

Last Day of Phil and Sandy's Vacation

We played in the park before going to eat at The Keg Mansion in Toronto. We have to go to this restaurant at least once when in Ontario. The best atmosphere and food of all Keg restaurants! And by the way, it's not coffee in those cups.

It was a great trip!

Quebec City

We booked a room at the Chateau Bellevue which is located right next to the Chateau Frontenac. You get all of the atmosphere and none of the high cost.
