On the way to the beach concert, we stopped in at one of their shops on the Boardwalk and watched how salt water taffy is made. In this picture, it is coming out of the wrapping machine - still warm - yum!
Sweet tooth heaven!

That big blob is what salt water taffy looks like before it is flavored, pulled, cut and wrapped
Every Friday night in the summer, the Boardwalk hosts a free open air concert - this Friday it was Herman's Hermits (Peter Noone). It was a great fun show!
After the concert, we went to the opening of the new Beauregard Wine Bar - Joe Jr. arranged for a great cheese platter to enjoy with the vino!
Still enjoying the vino as you can tell! We won't mention a couple of guys who were not really feeling all that well the next morning.

"Woodies" on the Wharf
This is an annual event on the Santa Cruz Wharf. There must have been a couple of hundred "woodies" of various makes. Even a couple of them hooked to vintage Airstream trailers, Kenny! The old surfing/beach boys music was blaring out to complete the experience.
