I don't know where the time has gone since we arrived back home middle of this month. I haven't even had time to take too many pictures which, for me, is saying something! We have been socializing with our friends and getting ready for our next trip. We'll be heading East to Ontario and Quebec in a couple of weeks. We're looking forward to seeing the girls again as well as the menagerie. Also, we'll spend a couple of weeks at the cottage in Lanoraie and enjoy the company of our Quebec friends. A friend of ours has bought a car for his daughter who is at the military college in Kingston, ON and has asked us to drive it out there for her. So that's the way we'll get there and we're thinking of taking a train back home in mid-October. We've rented our condo again through Craigslist and are confident we made a very good choice. We've been very lucky so far with our renters taking very good care of the place. Tomorrow is Swap Meet day - we've cleared our storage locker out and will try and get rid of the stuff at an outdoor swap meet in Aldergrove. Phil and Sandy have gone to Phoenix and Lake Powell (1-week houseboat trip) and we're dog-sitting Tinker, their little Yorkie. Alysha will be coming over for a few days late next week; she'll enjoy having Tinker here. Dorothy and Mack Robertson (Nicole's aunt and uncle) are heading for a trip across Canada in their motorhome from Calgary Monday. They're hoping to stop in at the farm on their way back; don't know exactly when that might be but we hope to be there by then.
We have seen some massive yachts coming into the marina since we've been home. I've taken photos of one in particular called "Kisses". It had to be at least 150 feet long, possibly longer and had a crew of 25. It apparently is one of the largest privately owned yachts in the world. Someone by the name of Braman owns it. Here's a few pictures of it.
